I’ve loved hairdressing since I was little …
I just knew that hair and beauty was what I wanted to do. I remember when I was in primary school, I would watch so many videos on how to do a ponytail, I was so determined and eventually managed a slightly wonky one. I would like to think I have perfected it by now.

My favourite hair technique …
I love balayage, which is a highlighting technique that is done completely free hand. Each balayage feels so personal to each client and you can’t go wrong with it.

When I’m not working …
I love hanging out with my grandparents. They live locally so we are all super close. Our favourite game is the Logo Board Game, it gets very competitive.

I love working at Daniel Granger Hairdressing because …
Working here means I get to live out my passion for hairdressing every single day, and I love seeing my regular clients. Connecting with people is what makes me the happiest. Sometimes I can be with a client for a good few hours, and you really get to learn about them and have that connection with them. I myself struggle with anxiety, and one of my regulars is a young girl that also struggles with anxiety. I got the chance to do a pink balayage on her, and you could see her confidence levels were so high. The smile on her face brought out a smile on mine.
